Adding Creator Guidelines in a Campaign Folder is a great way to get all of your general guidelines out on each assignment (without having to copy and paste every time). Follow this process below:

Click Manage > Campaigns and begin a new campaign. If you have a campaign in progress already, simply edit that campaign.

Brand Integration: Your brand integration should explain how you’d like your products, services and/or brand to be integrated into the content you create. This can also include instructions for SEO best practices such as internal and external linking standards. Stress the importance of avoiding a salesy tone in favor of offering useful content to clients that properly represents your brand.

Takeaway: What impression do you want to make on readers? Knowing the overall objective helps writers better shape the article’s tone and meet your expectations.

Guidelines: Your guidelines should include any other standards you’d like to set across the board. This includes writing style, brand guidelines, competitors to avoid and more. Depending on your preference, you can choose to include this information here or in the instructions section. Keep in mind that writers will see all these sections in the same order as you do. If you want some of your guidelines to be at the very top (due to their importance), you’ll want to put them in the instructions section. Alternatively, having them at the bottom can benefit writers who are already familiar with your guidelines and expectations.

Resources: Provide anything that might help the writer further understand your goals, tone, and direction you want to take the article. You can even direct them to hyperlinks or example pieces that have been successful in the past, showing them a bit more of what you might be looking for.

Keywords: If you have a list of keywords that need to be used throughout the campaign, providing those here for all assignments to see is always a good idea.
