A Guide to Ubersuggest

Using Ubersuggest

Step 1: Sign in to Ubersuggest via LastPass access granted by ClearVoice.

Step 2: Upon signing in, click on ‘Keyword Analyzer’ within the left-hand rail.

Step 3: After clicking ‘Keyword Analyzer,’ there should be a drop-down of options provided. Simply click on ‘Keyword Overview.’

Step 4: ‘Keyword Overview’ should bring you to a page that allows you to enter a keyword/phrase/question to get started. Simply enter the keyword you’d like to begin your search with and input the correct language and location based on where your content will live or where its audience is prominently focused within. (i.e., English, United States). Once that is input, click on the ‘Search’ button.

Step 5: Keyword information will populate based on your search keyword, language, and location. Simply review the given Search Volume and SEO Difficulty to determine whether this keyword makes sense for your content or not.

Step 6: Continue to steps 1-5 to discover new keywords OR scroll down within your ‘Keyword Overview’ results to the Keyword Ideas section. There, you will find other suggestions for keywords with supporting information such as Search Volume and SEO Difficulty. Ideally, we are looking to supply 3-5 total keywords (1-2 Primary and 2-3 Secondary) within briefs with an SEO Add-On.

Primary Keyword: The main keywords for which you want to rank. You are optimizing this keyword so that you can rank in Search engines.

Secondary Keyword: Those keywords which play a supporting role to your topics and primary keyword(s).

Domain Authority (DA): Domain Authority is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that predicts how likely a website is to rank in search engine result pages (SERPs). Domain Authority scores range from one to 100, with higher scores corresponding to a greater likelihood of ranking.

Domain Authority is based on data from our Link Explorer web index and uses dozens of factors in its calculations. The Domain Authority calculation uses a machine learning model to predictively find a "best fit" algorithm that most closely correlates our link data with rankings across thousands of actual search results that we use as standards to scale against.

Social Shares: The total number of times this URL was shared on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
