Who to ask, guidelines, and free stock photo sites
Ask the Writer
You have full control of instructions and guidelines for your content, so there's no reason not to make images part of your writer's process. Do this by, adding a note to your article instructions — something like, "Please add a relevant stock photo to the article." (If you have an account to a stock photo service, provide the login info. If not, mention the free sites below.)
Require Images via Your Guidelines
Content guidelines can be inserted into campaigns, and you can then autofill them into assignments. This is the most effective way to set the expectation that images are required.
