FAQ - Revising Pieces
A Producer’s primary role is to act as an editor and project manager for each piece they’re responsible for dispatching. This includes ensuring the content aligns with the required standards and overall project goals.
The producer should correct minor mistakes, such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax, before sending the document back to the writer for any necessary revisions.
Larger tweaks that would require a Producer to substantially rewrite portions of the assignment or make significant changes to the content structure, should be clearly communicated and sent back to the writer through a detailed revision request. This ensures that all parties are aligned on the expectations and required adjustments to meet the project's objectives.
